Horned Ghost Crab
Crabs are just so charismatic. I’ve wanted to paint one for a while, but I just couldn’t resist when I saw this guy with its little eye horns. I had a lot of fun, and learned a lot, playing with textures on this piece.

I painted this little corgi friend as a donation for Isaac’s Way restaurant’s charity auction. They’re raising money for theater classes for local kids! Check out all the other artists’ work here: https://isaacsway.ca/art/
I had so much fun with this month’s sticker set that I decided to paint this little guy, too!
I recorded my painting process for this little guy. Just give me about 57 years, and I’ll figure out how to edit it so you can all watch it. 😛
These little guys are for sale on my website and Etsy stores.

It’s been forever since I painted my little terror beast, Sparc. Here he is in all his sparkly glory!

Happy Canada Day to anyone who celebrates, and happy July 1st for everyone else! I hope your July is an awesome one!
Here’s our sticker pack for this month as decided on by my patrons over on Patreon: Raccoons! I had SO much fun drawing these squishy little guys that I digitized the rainbow design, too. Anyone who gets sticker rewards on Patreon this month can choose an extra design. The $5 tier also gets shiny stickers for the first time starting this month!

I’ve recently developed a love of hippos and really wanted to paint one. These danger friends are just too cute!
I experimented a ton on this piece and learned a lot from it. It’s also the biggest watercolour piece I’ve painted to date at 16″x12″!
I love seals so much! They’re just so friend-shaped. It’s been a while since I painted on wood, and this little friend was a great way to get back into it.

This lovely boy, Riley, was commissioned by a local private client. They specifically wanted an analogous colour scheme using only cool colours which added a fun little challenge to this piece. I usually rely on using complementary colours (colours opposite each other on the colour wheel) for the face and eyes to help the eyes really stand out, but that wasn’t an option here. Overall, I think this piece turned out really well, and I really enjoyed the challenge.
