This beautiful little lady was commissioned as a gift. I painted her just before Riley, the pooch I posted previously, and have been holding off posting her to make sure her portrait had time to be gifted. She’s an absolutely stunning cat, and it was such an amazing treat to be able to paint her!
This lovely boy, Riley, was commissioned by a local private client. They specifically wanted an analogous colour scheme using only cool colours which added a fun little challenge to this piece. I usually rely on using complementary colours (colours opposite each other on the colour wheel) for the face and eyes to help the eyes really stand out, but that wasn’t an option here. Overall, I think this piece turned out really well, and I really enjoyed the challenge.

And our rainbow sticker for this month is a Jackalope!I forgot to take photos of the shiny version, but the shiny jackalope has gold foil horns with a rainbow sheen. They feel very magical girl. ❤️
