Small and Mini Orange Cat Rugs

This mini rug was a bit of an experiment. I wanted to see how the design would change if I adapted it from a 30” rug to 15” and 7” versions. I definitely had to simplify the markings for both of the smaller versions, but they turned out surprisingly nicely! I’ll definitely have to keep pushing the detail and see what I can do in these mini rugs.

Bernese Mountain Dog Rainbow Portrait

I painted this beautiful Bernese mountain dog as a demo for my latest class on how I select colours for rainbow portraits, especially for animals with multiple colours. It’s so, so, so fun to paint tri coloured animals like this gorgeous pup!

Mini Rainbow Snail Rugs

Continuing my series of mini rugs are these two rainbow snails! I love snails so much. They’re somehow super relatable and charismatic.
I really like this design, because the character of each snail changes so much just by switching the order of the rainbow in their shells. Which one do you like best?

Mini Duck Rugs

Here are two tiny ducky rugs! These little friends are around 7-8”. I’m not totally sure how I feel about these guys. The design is cute, but it’s not as brightly coloured as my other rugs. What do you think?
