It feels soooo good to be painting again after working on rugs for so long! I decided to ease back into it by painting my favourite subject in some dramatic lighting. I’d paint cats all day, every day if I could. <3

This original painting, and exactly two prints, will be available at the Capital Art Sale running December 7-10 at 1111 Regent St. Watercolour always looks way better in person, so I definitely encourage you to check it out if you can!

Rainbow Cats Acrylic Painting

Now for something rare from me: An acrylic painting! I really loved using this style for my two murals, and I wanted to try it on something smaller. This piece is 12″ x 16″, so bigger than most of my watercolours but definitely smaller than my deck or door haha! I still hate using acrylics, but I would really like to keep playing with this flat, graphic style.

Two of these kitties were up for adoption at our local cat cafe a couple months ago, and the big, pink guy is my Scuzzy cat. It’s so nice to be able to paint a variety of kitties.

October Sticker Pack

Here’s our sticker pack for this month: Haunted animal skulls! I tried to keep these guys looking cute and cheery, and I chose animals that I think are a little unusual to see as skulls. There’s a duck, chicken, fish, frog, and turtle. And of course a cat skull for our rainbow sticker, because I can’t resist a cat.

I know skulls aren’t everyone’s jam, so anyone on Patreon receiving physical rewards this month can choose any stickers I’ve produced in the past as alternatives if you don’t want skulls.

Rainbow Scuzzy Cat Rug

Here’s another rug I made for RB Studio and Gallery‘s opening: A pink rainbow rug of my cat, Scuzzy! This was actually the first rainbow rug design I created when I was first learning tufting, and this is my first time making one for sale. I’ve tweaked a few bits to make the design more aesthetically pleasing, though it looks a little less like my precious Scuzzy cat.
